During your stay in Trapani, we suggest every day the local dishes and where you can taste them. Here below, we show you what you can not miss!  In Trapani’s historical center, you can taste the Sicilian street food like Arancine with meat sauce, butter, seafood, the typical Panino con le Panelle, the Pane Cunzato with primo sale cheese, anchovies, tomato, oregano and olive oil.

In Trapani’s restaurants we will suggest you, you could appreciate the appetizers, like tuna products, smoked swordfish, “neonata” pancakes, fried fish, swordfish rolls, sardine meatballs…

In the countryside you can visit a cheese factory that we will suggest and you can taste cheese like ricotta, Primo Sale, Vastedda and Pecorino Siciliano.

Among the typical dishes of the restaurants in Trapani we will suggest, Busiate al Pesto Trapanese, Cous Cous with fish besides the typical sea food dishes.

– The trapanese pizza cooked in a wood oven which is known to be slightly high and well-seasoned. We recommend Pizza Araba a bit ‘spicy with black olives, red garlic, pepperoni, tomato, oregano, olive oil, roasted bread crumbs and Pizza Rianata with tomato, anchovies, olive oil, garlic and red pecorino.

– Among the wines we recommend you to taste dessert wines like Marsala and Passito, and wines like Grillo, Inzolia, Cataratto Nero d’Avola

– Among the olive oils we suggest an old beam on the outskirts of Trapani where you can taste the oil “dop” Valli Trapanesi, Cerasuolo, Nocellara, Blend
